About our Course:
According to Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum, Former President of the Ivy League Spelman College of Atlanta, Georgia, we are constantly moving toward an increasingly more racially inequitable society. What is your definition of trust in a society where racism is persistent and pervasive? How do we trust ourselves in a society that rewards us for short attention spans on race? How do we build trust when racism keeps on happening? In this seminar, participants will be introduced to a definition, framework, and strategies for building trust in collaborative environments. By the end of the seminar, participants will understand the RCC trust-building framework and collectively draft plans for building and sustaining racial trust.
