Who We Are

Roselyn Braxton
Vice President
First and foremost, those who share a relationship with Roselyn Braxton describe her as a consistent base of support and a model of effective communication. Her powerful problem-solving abilities use keen understanding and compassion to make people, ideas, and organizations move.

These talents animate her professional role as Vice President of RCC, where she ensures partnerships runs smoothly and efficiently. She assists organizations with accessing RCC tools and training materials, scheduling meetings, and general logistics, all while fortifying their capacity to make the best use of these resources.

Roselyn is a highly skilled listener and communicator, able to assess client needs and convey necessary information with clarity and enthusiasm. She is also a PMP-certified project manager with over 10 years of experience leading and managing complex projects, primarily in the healthcare sector. Prior to this work, Roselyn was a college professor in the Healthcare Administration program at Bryant and Stratton College. She holds an M.B.A from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. in Healthcare Administration from Florida Metropolitan University.
Devrae Hudson
Director of Education
Devrae Hudson is an equity centered leader committed to the success of growing racial consciousness in people. She has provided national staff development on curriculum and team leadership skills. Before joining the RCC team she served St. Louis Park Public Schools in Minnesota as a Racial Equity Instructional Coach. Devrae has also spent time coaching executive leaders across the Twin Cities. Her work's focus has been on racial equity and coaching for improved instruction.

Devrae has over 20 years of experience teaching elementary school, particularly 4th and 5th grade. Her teaching experience has consistently been coupled with a leadership component around equity and effective instruction. Devrae is a graduate of Spelman College with a B.A. in Child Development and has her M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary's University of MN. She is a well-respected instructional leader and engages in difficult conversations with grace and authenticity. Students and teachers alike respond well to her passion for racial equity and student achievement, and she skillfully creates space for all voices, including her own.


Shaundra Brown
RCC Collaborator Program Director
Shaundra is passionate about creating space for individuals seeking to nurture their health and wellness through a racial equity lens. Her holistic approach is based on the truth that each of us has the unique means to heal ourselves through self-care, commitment, and a deep exploration of the ways our lives are interconnected. Through 25 years, and counting, in education and other sectors, working to eradicate racial disparities enhances her style of innovative programming and coaching for individuals worldwide. With a racial equity lens, Shaundra is on a mission to inspire others to improve their health and wellness along their journeys with joy along the way.

Shaundra earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Black Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Student Development at Mississippi State University, and is certified as a Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, New York and worldwide.
Nitchet Quarles
Executive Assistant
As the Executive Assistant at Racially Conscious Collaboration, Nitchet brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to support our team so they can focus on the critical work of driving progress forward. With over 25 years of work experience in Managed Healthcare, Social Work and Healthcare Administration, she is adept at handling complex projects and managing our schedules with ease. Nitchet is dedicated to driving Racially Conscious Collaboration to success by bringing a unique perspective to her work allowing her to approach each task with thoughtfulness and creativity.
Nitchet earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia University. Nitchet is a native Philadelphian but has lived in several states on both sides of the country for the past 21 years along with her husband and three children.
