About our Course:
We will Deconstruct dominant racial narratives at the foundation of psychological theory and practice and identify the ways racism has been perpetuated in the field of Psychology. Meet our Facilitators:
KayeAnn Mason, LICSW is a Racial Equity Trainer, License Supervisor, Anti-Racist Practice Coach, Consultant and Psychotherapist in private clinical practice in Saint Paul, Minnesota. KayeAnn has over 35 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults struggling with the impact of living in what bell hooks calls an “imperialist white supremacist capitalist patriarchy”. Her work integrates anti-racism, anti-oppression, social justice, intersectional and liberatory frameworks. She believes that the root of racial healing for Black and Brown bodies is grounded in raising racial consciousness and in collective multi-systemic resistance.
